Moyai Drainage Method - Rainwater Storage Infiltration Layer

Can be used in rainwater retention and infiltration facilities! Equipped with runoff control functions to protect the retention tank body.

The "Moyai Drain Method 'Rainwater Retention Infiltration Layer'" is used as an alternative material for filling aggregates such as single-sized crushed stone in rainwater retention infiltration facilities, as well as a cushioning material to protect the main retention tank. By using factory-produced products with high dimensional accuracy, the flatness of the foundation ground is ensured, allowing for stable construction as a measure against unevenness. A rainwater retention structure integrated with the main retention tank can be formed. With a void ratio of over 80%, the outflow suppression function is improved compared to aggregates like single-sized crushed stone. The unique structure of the Moyai Drain has been evaluated by the review committee of the Rainwater Retention Infiltration Technology Association (public corporation) as being applicable for rainwater outflow suppression facilities. [Moyai Drain Method] - Simplifies the construction process, leading to a reduction in construction time. - Can be installed around the outer perimeter of the main body and used as a cushioning material with outflow suppression functionality. - Eco-mark product using 50-60% recycled materials. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

What is green infrastructure? A clear introduction to its benefits and examples.

Introduction to basic information, advantages and disadvantages, and examples!

In recent years, global warming has accelerated, leading to an increase in abnormal weather and natural disasters in Japan. As a result, there is growing attention on "green infrastructure" as a means of sustainable infrastructure development. This time, we will introduce what green infrastructure is, the benefits and challenges of implementing it, and examples from municipalities that have adopted it. *For more detailed information on the column, please refer to the related links. Permeable material "Moyai Drain Mat N Type (Fully Permeable Type)"

High pressure resistance! A permeable material with multiple hollow sections in the water flow cross-section, featuring a three-dimensional mesh structure.

The "Moyai Drain Mat" is a permeable material made from polypropylene, which excels in chemical resistance among polymer materials, featuring a three-dimensional mesh structure with fused strands. The newly formed structure through integral molding is a fully open-type strand mesh that combines the functions of water collection and hollow water passage through a spiral pipe, making it an ideal drainage material with high compressive strength. The "N Type (Fully Permeable Type)" is optimal for applications such as embankment horizontal drainage, drainage behind retaining walls, slope drainage, groundwater drainage, drainage for structures, rooftop garden drainage, and general underground drainage. 【Features】 ■ Excellent chemical resistance ■ High compressive strength ■ Fully permeable filter (0.6mm PE mesh filter) For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Ground drainage for buried drainage "Moyai Drain N Type"

There is a proven track record of use in numerous grand constructions! It also offers flexibility and enhances adhesion to the installation surface.

The "Moyai Drain N Type" is a product for ground drainage that significantly simplifies construction compared to pipe materials. Its fully perforated structure allows for smooth water absorption from all directions, ensuring effective water collection. Additionally, it uses a highly permeable mesh filter to prevent clogging. While it is a three-dimensional mesh structure, it features a pipe-like cavity arranged in the water flow direction, providing one of the highest permeability rates among three-dimensional mesh structures. 【Features】 ■ Maintains high pressure resistance while being flexible and curving easily, enhancing adhesion to the installation surface. ■ Made with over 50% recycled polypropylene, considering environmental impact. ■ Proven track record of use in various ground installations (natural grass, artificial turf, and no grass). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Super Sol Construction Case] Example of Ground Subsurface Drainage Work

This is a case study of the renovation work on the grounds of Jonan Junior High School in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

We would like to introduce a case study of the construction using "Super Sol," an artificial lightweight material made from crushed and sintered waste glass. In the renovation work of a public junior high school’s playground, Super Sol was filled into the poorly draining ground's drainage ditches to improve drainage performance. Typically, crushed stone is filled around conventional drainage pipes, but Super Sol is lightweight, making it easier to work with and reducing the load on the drainage pipes. It has a particle size ranging from 2 to 75 mm and maintains high permeability even after installation, making it less prone to clogging and ensuring sustained drainage effectiveness. 【Construction Case Study】 - Project: Renovation of Jonan Junior High School Playground - Application Category: Civil Engineering / Drainage Material / Subsurface Drainage Ground Material - Client: Kurume City - Location: Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture - Required Performance: Drainage and Lightweight Properties For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
